Your Workflow Simplified

Sharing Nurses Update

In an effort to stream-line the sharing nurses feature in NurseTesting to make sure that it meets your needs, we are changing our sharing feature as of Tuesday September 2nd.

The primary change is that the right to share nurses will now be decided ONLY at the administrative level on the account. There will no longer be an option when adding a new nurse into the system, as to whether or not they are shared with another office.

To simplify, there are two options in NurseTesting: either

  • ALL nurses are shared among offices
    or
  • NO nurses are shared between offices

To set this option, as an administrator, select the account management tab once logged into NurseTesting. On the account management tab, select the “account set-up” option. One of the choices in this section is “Users can share nurses with other offices”.

If this option is set to yes

All nurses will be shared between all offices. As an office adds a nurse into the system, they will automatically be assigned to that specific location. However, all other offices will still have full access to that nurse, inlcluding sending exams and viewing scores.

If this option is set to no

NO nurses will be shared between offices. When an office logs into NurseTesting, they will see the names of the nurses from other offices, and see the name of the office that the nurse belongs to. However, they have no access to view scores/send exams.

Either option that you choose, only Administrators on the NurseTesting account will have access to change which office a nurse belongs to.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact client support!

Create and Update Profiles Easier.

Administrators now have a new feature to create/update profiles within NurseTesting. Currently this feature is accessible through the send exams screen. This will still be an option for managing profiles in the future. However, on the Account Management tab, there is a new option called Profile Setup. Selecting this tab will open the manage profiles box, and allow you to create new profiles or update existing profiles within the system.

New Nurses List Report

A new feature is now available to administrators on your NurseTesting account. On the Manage Nurses Tab and on the Reports Tab you can now access a complete list of all caregivers entered into NurseTesting.

Once you click on the Nurses List link, you will be presented with a full list of your caregivers. This file can be exported to Microsoft Word or Excel with the click of a button. This feature is an upgrade for administrators only, and can not be made available to recruiters.

Invoicing and Point-Usage Changes

Point Usage Alerts

In an effort to keep administrators informed of point usage within their NurseTesting account, an automatic email will be sent to all administrators on the account once the points in the account equal zero.

This email will notify you that all points for the month have actually been used (exams/checklists have been completed), and additional points used within the month will be charged at the overage fee, according to the contract.

Contact service@nursetesting.com to upgrade your membership and avoid overage fees!

Invoicing Improvements

Starting this month, invoices will now reflect charges for the month, as well as any past due invoice amounts, in order to keep all invoices current for finance review.

New Administrative Options

With the recent upgrade, administrators can block recruiters from changing passwords. To use this function, select the Account Management tab within NurseTesting. From this tab, select the Account Setup options to enter the screen below.

In addition, administrators can now block the Reports tab from appearing for all recruiters. If you would like only administrators to view and use Reports, please contact service@nursetesting.com and we will make the permission change.

New Feature to Delete Profiles

NurseTesting has implemented a new feature to the managing profiles section. Administrators have access to create profiles to standardize exams being sent to caregivers. We have added a “delete” button to this feature to remove out of date/duplicate profiles.

To see a short demonstration on how to delete a profile, please go to www.nursetesting.com/training and watch recruiter training video # 10 on Creating Profiles.
