BlueSky Updates for August 2008

Blue-Sky had its monthly upgrade last night. Some of the new functionality and brief descriptions are listed below:

1. Show open shifts on your website!

   This new tool will increase your application rate and help provide you with the exact type of caregivers you need. You won’t have to worry about updating your job board ever again. When you add new shifts to BlueSky they will appear instantly on your site!

2. Ability to sort reminders by date.
3. Ability to filter the caregiver mailing label report by recruiter.
4. Ability to pull note reports by recruiter.
5. Ability to sort shifts/needs by recruiter.
6. Ability to sort eligible caregivers for a need by alphabetical order.
7. Permissions on notes have been updated to include the ability to make notes read only after completion of a note so recruiters cannot adjust later.
8. Permanent Placement CategoryIf your caregivers are looking for permanent placement, you have the ability within the employment tab to mark them as eligible for permanent placement.In addition, when you click on scheduling you now have a third category Permanent Placement to enter in permanent placement needs using drop down boxes of information already stored within the system.After the need is placed, you have the ability to search for eligible candidates to that match the criteria for the need by clicking on candidates/assigned. You still have the functionality to send emails/text messages/voice messages to the eligible candidates. As soon as a caregiver is assigned, they are immediately made inactive in Blue-Sky with a reason code of permanent placement.
9. Your company fax number has been added to the expiring documents email that is sent to your caregivers in advance.
10. Contracts for travelers can now be created for time periods over one year if needed.
11. Application upgrade: You now have the ability to require fields to be completed on an application prior to submission.
12. Ability to push travel needs to sub-contractors within Blue-Sky.
13. National License is now an option in the license tab.
14. Emails regarding shift changes: An auto-email will be sent to an assigned caregiver every time the shift is updated by either date/time/place.
15. Reference section has been upgraded. You now have a separate tab for references. During the application you can require references to be entered in by the person. There is also a place for you to verify the references as well! Call me if you need details, or want to add this piece to your application!
